Joan Farr Heffington, C.E.O.

As C.E.O. and Founder of the A.H.A!, Joan Farr Heffington has over 38 years experience, education and observation of the United States legal system.  From 2001-2002, she spent an estimated 2200 hours and $20,000 when forced to act as her own attorney in a negligence-fraud lawsuit which she petitioned to the United States Supreme Court.  Having been denied legal representation and realizing the severe lack of justice in our legal system, Joan and three others formed the A.H.A! in April, 2003.  She also wrote and published TEN SECRETS You Must Know Before Hiring a Lawyer.  Joan received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Administration of Justice from Wichita State University in 1977 and 1981, respectively.  From 1982-1984, she served as a traffic investigator for the City of Wichita.  Joan was the first female builder to join the Wichita Area Builders Association in 1999.  As President of Heffington Homes, Inc. from 1999-2006, she designed, built and decorated speculative homes for resale.  Joan was selected as the 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 Kansas Businesswoman of the Year by the National Business Advisory Council, and has past served as their Honorary Chairman for Kansas.  In 2005, she received the Ronald Reagan Gold Medal Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence.  Since forming, the A.H.A! has helped file nine federal lawsuits to try and end corruption in Kansas, four of which were petitioned to the United States Supreme Court.  They continue to make referrals to attorneys people can trust and only help people sue lawyers and judges as a last resort.  Since 2010, the A.H.A! has been assisting in a mass effort to file pro se lawsuits to stop the CIA abuse of National Security Letters targeting innocent people with chemical/biological warfare.  Joan has never taken a salary for her efforts as C.E.O. of the Association for Honest Attorneys.  She currently lives in Sedgwick County, Kansas with her three sons.

Directors

The A.H.A! has decided to remove the names of all directors from our website, which is mainly due to past persecution and fear by family members.  Except for God, who fears nothing and has been our guiding force and silent partner since we began in 2003.  He is all about truth, love and justice, and has directed us in all of our decisions. God helps us speak the truth in love, and protects us for doing what is right. He is the author of “The Holy Bible,” which is the standard of living for all mankind. It is not His desire that anyone should perish, even lawyers whom He especially tries to warn (Luke 11:52). His laws under the Ten Commandments are the foundation for the laws in our country. His son Jesus gave us two more, that we “love God and love our neighbor as ourself.” These commandments should be written on the halls of justice in our country. In seeking His will, God is highly in favor of our proposed “justice amendment.” We are thankful that His love for us never ends, and that He will never leave us or forsake us. God resides in heaven with his son, Jesus, and in our hearts if we let Him.
